Company founded at Lio-Ho 1st. Road, Kaohsiung City, specialized in the production of

aluminum electrolytic capacitors

1978

Purchased automated production facilities

1983

Entered computerized production management

1988

Moved operation to the new plant in Da Fa Industrial Park; entered technical cooperation with Japanese UNICON, and completed fully automatic Axial type production lines

1994

Awarded by the Dept. of Small and Medium Businesses, Ministry of Economic Affairs, as a model factory for observation in the southern area

1995

Certified as a qualified factory by ISO-9002 of the Bureau of Commodity Inspection, Ministry of Economic Affairs

1997

Computerized operation of entire factory; establishment of On-Line production management and operation system

1999

Entered cooperation with UNICON, an affiliate of Japanese Nichigas Kaihatsu Group; full-scale renewal and introduction of automated production facilities

2001

Officially set up Taiwan Branch of Dept. of Electronic Components of Japanese UNICON, dealing in the sales of semiconductors

2002

Cooperated with Japanese UNICON in setting up a factory in Ningbo, China, becoming the world’s leading factory in specialized production of fully-automated Axial type capacitors

2004

Nochigas Kaihatsu group reorganization in Japan, and authorized brand UNICON production and marketing of autonomous management, separately to Unielecs Co.,

2005

Ningbo factory moved to Yi-xing/Jiangsu, and cooperated with Richey/USA, further expand the product scales.

2007

TS-16949/QS080000 quality certification system approved, competing into automotive electronics industry.

2008

Shenzhen branch office/China established.

2009

The first publication ceremony of Plastic sealing technology for conductive polymer aluminium solid electrolytic capacitors, voltage up to 63V.

2010

Set up second factory at Kaohsiung, specializing in the production of Conductive polymer aluminium solid electrolytic capacitor.
